Just signed up and am looking forward to listening, learning and reading more. I am just starting out at an all girls high school with some innovative ideas on integrating technology.
There is a profile running under the name of Kelly Williams that I suspect to be spamming all members - could you investigate and take the necessary action if this is overrunning the Ning - thanks!
Jennifer,
What are our plans for a 2010 Ning? Could we delete everything except the users and start from scratch?
The reason I ask is because I found the 2008 Ning very, very helpful in connecting and planning for the upcoming NECC. But every time I've come to the ning now in 2009, I keep running into last year's flotsam and jetsam (old groups, messages, planned meetups, etc).
What do you think?

Hi Jennifer....quick question. I accidently made 2 accounts on Ning, and I don't see anyway to delete one. Is there? Please send me the step for deleting a Ning account. Thanks

Springs Alive has affiliated with Multitech Business Research Centre, a unit within Multitech Business School, Plot 345 Kyadondo Road
Makerere, Off Sir Apollo Kaggwa Road in Kampala. Multitech Business
School link is www.multitech.co.ug; this link will soon be upgraded to include Multitech business research Centre (MBRC), alternatively MBRC will have its own link. Discussions are still under way.
Background about Multitech Business School (MBS).
Multitech Accountancy Programme (MAP) was founded in 1989 to train professionals in accounting disciplines. As the business environment kept changing and competition grew. The MAP mission was expanded to cater for other courses outside of the accounting field. As a result MAP was rebranded and today it goes by Multitech Business School (MBS).
The objective of MBS is to provide to its clients competences that enable them not only to succeed but also to excel in a commercial environment and in life generally. Since inception, MBS has assisted over half of the qualified Accountants and Chartered Secretaries in Uganda to attain their prestigious qualifications. In addition, over 600 Accounting Technicians have been trained countrywide.
Multitech Business School established a research unit, Multitech
Business Research Centre (MBRC). This was after a dirty and quick
survey that showed that;
•Many Universities have programs with a compulsory research component
but without practical tools to empower the students to successfully
carry out their research projects independently.
•Many businesses start up and set up without research based
information to guide their decision making and planning processes.
•Collaboration opportunities with local and international bodies in
areas of business research.
•Opportunity to expand our expertise in offering business solutions.
Mission of MBRC.
To provide business solutions through research as well as empower our
students in handling research not only as a theory subject but also
the in-depth applications of the usage of research tools, design and
interpretations.
Overall Goal.
To carry out business research, establish strategic partnerships with
other research bodies, Universities and the Business Community and
offer training in the related areas.
Our Strategic Objectives:
•Train and empower students to carry out their research projects independently.
• (Re) engineer Business and/or organization processes.
•Hatch business start ups as well as act as a conduit for enterprise
development.
•Offer sustainable strategic position research.
Target group
•Students in tertiary institutions undertaking research related courses.
•Business community with interest in business research data and skills
•NGOs, government, local government and donor agencies
Multitech Business Research Centre boosts of competences in: Research
Training, Business process review and redesign, and Strategic
analysis.
Jennifer I find this very interesting because we could be of help in the dissemination of our research to Investors and also carry out research in any business related field, mainly as regards making links with Organitions and institutions you are linked to. With this brief background, you could kindly advise us on how we could accelerate collaboration within you and please do not hesitate to link us to other research bodies.
We love to read from you
