My 2009 NECC Session “Raising the Bar: Differentiated Learning” in Washington DC is
Wednesday, 7/1/2009 from1:30pm–2:30pm. I will share as much as I can during the session.

Description Caption for Session: Looking for a way to bridge the gap with differentiated learning? We’ll introduce you to technology resources that will help you teach all students.

(Time permitting) My Differentiated Learning agenda will include:

*Differentiated Learning: What is it?
*What might it look like?
*How can you set it up?
*Management
*Ideas/Resources
*FREE Interactive Help and templates I plan to focus on free resources and templates to help produce effective technology centers, many of which are offered on our new Vermilion Parish Curriculum Site.
*Project Based Learning Ideas
For those interested in the topic, but can’t attend the session, you can view my NECC 2009 “Raising the Bar: Differentiated Learning” links on my home page!

On my “Raising the Bar: Differentiated Site,” you can view actual classroom photographs involving differentiated learning, as well as video clips of centers I created in classrooms this spring. I posted definitions, resources and more!

If anyone has Differentiated Learning links or sites for me to add, I would love to hear from you! My goal is to create a helpful, user friendly site to guide teachers. Especially those new to the process.

You can respond here or email me @ stacybodin@aol.com or smbodin@vrml.k12.la.us. You can also "tweet me" on twitter. My twitter name is stacybodin.

I hope to keep adding information on my own webpage and on my Footnotes of a Retired “Teckie Teacher” blog site!

Thanks for all of the wonderful resources that you provided. I am very much aware that differentiation is a huge component of teaching. I definitely plan to utilize the resources you provided in future classroom instruction.

What wonderful links! I'm new to the teaching profession (or will be soon) and am always looking for helpful material to help me get started. I've learned so much about differentiation in the classroom and am excited to implement all the wonderful ideas I've come across. Your session looks great--I've bookmarked it for future use in my new career!

Unfortunately, I can't physically attend the conference, but it is so helpful to have access to your links and resources. I am currently in a teacher licensure program and have had some great classes that address differentiation, but I still worry that I will struggle with this very important issue in the classroom. I am looking forward to checking out your blog on a regular basis. Thanks for the great work!
