- I am a teacher educator, educational technologist and edublogger currently based in Bangalore, India. An alumna of Harvard University and a successful entrepreneur, I have worked with educational institutions such as Harvard Graduate School of Education, Harvard Business School and several K-12 schools in India and the US.
I am currently engaged with Google India in their education initiatives. My other professional pursuits, besides founding and maintaining educatorslog.in - India's first web 2.0 community forum for educators in India, include - advising on national policies on ICT in education, writing articles on new technologies in education in the Indian context; designing curriculum for teacher education programs; conducting workshops and courses on educational technologies; assisting school management & teachers with technology planning and effective integration; consulting on Harvard's WIDE World online courses; conducting digital story-telling and robotics workshops for middle and high school kids; and participating in education seminars.
I have undergraduate degrees in Physics & Computer Science from BITS (Pilani), India, an M.S. in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, and an Ed.M.(Technology & Innovation in Education) from Harvard University
I maintain a personal blog on issues of education (with a focus on technology in education) called 'Education Musings' (http://shuchi-edblog.blogspot.com).
