About Me:
I am an eighth grade teacher of early U.S. history and language arts. The 2007/2008 school year was my first contract year. I was a substitute teacher for 14 years while I raised my sons. I have just recently begun to immerse myself in the world of tech as it applies to education. I want to bridge the disconnect between myself and my students by teaching them in the world they know and will need to know.

That is what my intent was, too, but then simply decided to start inviting my friends, even if they cannot afford a trip to NECC, there is so much here for non-attendees. Iowa usually only has a dozen or so attend. Our highest attendance was in Minneapolis and Chicago NECC's. Will you be able to attend?
