Hi Joyce! So happy to see you are attending NECC this year. I had contacted you earlier this year to request permission to use your library resources as a link to my webpage. I hope we find each other during this week! Julia
Wanted to say "thank you" to you, Joyce, for hosting Jennifer and Judith. They (and thus we) learned a great deal from their visit with you.
Jennifer is at the conference (I'm following it from afar) and we are all very excited at the work that we have started on our new Learning Resources Centre.
Thanks again!
I' ve been following you forever. You've informed my learning and searching. We have no librarians in my school district- we are disparately in need of guidance for 21st century habits and skills.
Good to see you again Joyce. I hope we can touch base sometime during the conference. Carl and I would like to update you on the 21cif project.
I'd love to attend the Standards Debate Forum, but I've got a NETS panel of my own at about the same time: Virtual Opportunities: Interactive Strategies for Online Instruction. (Ouch I hope we get your overflow!)
Carl and I are rolling out a new presentation (backed by a 1 week Moodle class). I hope you can attend:
Web Site Investigator: An Introduction to Information Forensics Monday, 6/30/2008, 11:00am–12:00pm; HGCC 206 A
Motivate students to evaluate Web sites with information forensics. Track down elusive authors, dates, check the accuracy of claims, and more using investigative search techniques. Recommended by ISTE's SIGMS
I know we'll all be juggling like mad at the conference. Here's to rhythm & balance & some fun too!
