The teacher librarian (aka library media specialist) is one person in the teaching profession that has the mantle of promoting and supporting meaningful collaboration among teachers. Through videoconferencing there is an opportunity to expand school site PLCs beyond the walls of a school, district or state that will provide inspirational collaboration for those involved. Teacher librarians, I believe, are the "go to" people to support this effort.

I'm at NECC. Today I had an all day session on Digital Storytelling. Tomorrow I'll be at the Leadership Symposium, and then presenting at the Global Poster Session (7-9 PM). Monday- Leadership Symposium. My session on Rock Our World is Tuesday from 3:30-4:30 PM.
