Be sure to attend the SIGMS Forum at NECC 2009. This year's forum will feature David Loertscher, Sara Kelly Johns, Christopher Harris, MaryFriend Shepard, and will have Marlene Woo-Lun as moderator.

Videos of the two forums have been posted, check the video tab. The SIGMS forum was chunked into 11 videos all posted by Peggy Milam Creighton. There is also an audio version and a text transcript available on the group discussion page.

If you have not already, make sure that you join the 21st Century Skills group within this NING. The AASL and NETS standards discussion needs some TLC (Teacher Librarian care).

Looking forward to seeing you at NECC. Please consider the following while at NECC.
Attend the SIGMS forum where we will be discussion the NETS and the new AASL standards. We are also in collaboration with SIGTE. Their forum event will also focus on standards. Consider joining the 21st Century Skills group in this NING where we hope to post information, vidoes, sound and discussions both before and after our two forum events.
Also, look for the SIGMS playground where we will be highlighting 21st century library media centers.
Finally, there is a SIGMS breakfast being hosted by Linworth and ProQuest;Tuesday, 7/1/2008, 7 AM at the Grand Hyatt, RSVP required, open to first 150
