Highly experienced ISTE Second Lifers will help interested but perhaps "skills-challenged" educators explore this rich virtual platform for its value in teaching and learning.
Building on the amazing "SLedupotential" experience we shared with a packed room at NECC08, we decided to focus a three-hour workshop session of its own just for absolute beginners! This will help assure that our discussions don't fly over the virtual heads of folks just wanting the basics, but wanting them delivered masterfully by Second Life educators with copious experience doing just that. If you feel competent with the basics and want to explore much more deeply we suggest our other workshop, WA507 Educators' Toolbox and Skill Set: Instruction and Presentatio... .
